Sakai City Sambo Water Recycle Center
Organo received an order from the Sambo Water Recycle Center for a 80,000 m3/day fiber media filtration system (FIBAX with reinforced concrete structure) in Sakai City, Osaka.
In May 2011, Organo received an order from the Japan Sewage Works Agency for the construction of water treatment system phase 13 at the Sambo Water Recycle Center.
The design-build approach was selected as the project delivery method of the project, which was to apply advanced treatment (fiber media filtration) to secondary treatment effluent, including the partial re-use of service water within the plant. The client selected Organo’s proposal of FIBAX with a reinforced concrete structure.
